Polilight PDTHow Does the Polilight® PDT Work?

The diagram to the right illustrates how the system works.

Light from the Polilight® source is directed at the affected area. Viewing the area through special goggles allows the practitioner to see fluorescence from the affected cells, and can view the changes before and after treatment.
